I've got a 95 Honda Civic DX hatchback that's got 205,000 miles and hums right along. regular oil changes, etc. I average 35-38 mpg (really) I love this car and it is because of this site that I decided to hold onto my car until it doesn't want to drive any more. which apparently is going to be loads more miles! happy driving! Yay Honda!

I am a technician at a Honda dealership, and I own two older higher mileage Hondas myself. My one I drive in the winters is a 1992 Accord LX 4DR 5-speed, and it now has a little over 231,000 miles on it. I got it with 208,000 for $500 and replaced a lot of the front suspension and the radiator/condensor and its been running like a charm since. My other vehicle is a 1995 del sol VTEC 5-speed that is just about to break 200,000 this summer. I got that car with about 160,000 on it and all I have replaced since is the elecrical portion of the ignition switch and both door checkers. Of all the Hondas I have personally seen though, which is many, the highest was a 1997 Odyssey with about 460,000 miles on it with the original engine and transmission, still in great shape. Shows the durability of these vehicles!

I have a 1983 Honda Civic Wagon 5 spd.(named Marley). I live in Cincinnati and that car has moved me to New York City AND to Nashville. We made it from Cincinnati to Nashville on 1/2 tank of gas! That's over 50 mpg - and he's got lots of power! Unfortunately, Marley needs a new engine... his poor rings finally just gave out. If anyone has a CVCC 1.5 for sale please email me... (Ed Note: Please use the contact page to email the webmaster to get Jessica's email address.)

I own a 1992 Honda Accord LX sedan, and am the original owner. It just turned 200,000 on the way to work today. The only problem I have ever had is the fact that I live in upstate NY, so the vehicle has some rust. It continues to run as well as it did the day I drove it off of the lot.... and still gets 30mpg! My next car will be another Honda Accord.

My 1994 accord just hit 200,000k miles. Spend less than $1000 on maintenance since purchased at 91k miles (I do the work myself, so that's just parts). Honda makes engines that run forever.

I drive a 1995 Honda Accord with 188,000 miles on the odometer. The car is very reliable and get constantly 30+ mpg. Handling and safety are good (no ABS tho). No major repairs. I am very happy with the car and will drive it til it falls apart.

I own a 1996 Honda Accord, Special Edition, and the whole family loves it. It was our first car and it's been driven by my husband, myself, my son and now my youngest daughter took it with her to college in Colorado almost 3 years ago. My husband and I were concerned about the performance of the car in a cold weather but so far, so good! Its mileage now is over 160,000 and the only repair done to it 2 times had to do with brakes (it's been driven by two teenagers, so you can imagine why) but other than that, just the regular maintenance. My daughter loves it and says she will drive it forever!

I own a 1989 Honda Accord DX with 289,000 miles on it. I am the third owner and the car; it runs great and the interior is still in excellent condition. I have had a few things done to the engine, such as all the seals replaced and a new carburator, but other than that it is still a sound running car. I intend on restoring it to original new condition.

I just clicked 250,718 miles on my 2004 Pilot. When I last brought it in for service the advisor mistakenly entered 25,000 for the milage. He didn't believe me when I corrected him and went out to verify for himself.

1990 Honda CRX HF 308,002 miles just turned 308,000 today! My first car and my only car, though my wife has had a couple of different ones. I have been driving this car for 11 years. Original paint except the front bumper. Original motor, 2nd transmission - bearings wore out on the 1st one (didnt change the transmission fluid). I just changed the original struts. The original coolant hoses lasted 15 years, though they were about to burst when I changed them. Very little rust. I plan on driving it until i am dead or the car is stolen/burned/destroyed. I would like to hit 1,000,000 but that's not going to happen as I drive less than 10k a year now. I'm shooting for 500,000.

My '82 Civic 1500 GL is purring along at 230,000 miles. This is the most reliable car I ever owned. I wish it would quit so I could turn it in but it just doesn't want to give up. However, lack of parts may make that inevitable.

The 1997 Honda Civic LX my wife got new for her 16th birthday is going strong at 210,000 miles. I only wish it had arm-powered crank windows. Also the Ebay bargain 1995 Honda Odyssey EX I bought 2 years ago is running great with 160,000 miles on it. It was the holy grail of used cars - spent most of it's first five years in an old lady's warm garage. As good as the mechanical longevity is, I'm equally amazed at the shine of these orginal paint jobs. I expect to get 100,000 more miles out of each of my sweet-running Hondas.

I have a 1995 Honda Accord that has an odometer reading of 368,145. It's a manual transmission, and still runs as though it's brand new. The only work that has been done on it is to replace the master cylinder and the ignition switch.

I have a 1997 Honda Civic EX coupe currently with 237,800 miles on it. Most of the people I know were saying that my car wouldn't make it to 210,000 miles by the way I drive. I now have almost 30,000 more miles than what they predicted. The only problem I have is the passenger side door is secured due to a malfunction with the lock and the window opens slightly. I also have had 3 minor accidents, and currently commute from south San Diego to Los Angeles five days a week, and my car still is running great.

I have a 1997 Honda CR-V. It has 211,000 miles. The car has never had a problem; I have followed the Honda maintenance program religiously, doing all checkups and recommended maintenance items. The body is in great shape, and I live in Ohio so the salt has not damaged the body. I will never own anything other than a Honda again! I plan to keep it to 350K or 400K, or maybe more if it is still going strong! Enjoy not having car payments.

I have a 93 Honda Civic LX sedan, auto; just turned over 300,000 miles. I use synthetic oil and perform regular change of fluids- trans, radiator, brake, and power steering.

I have a 2002 Honda Odyssey with 531,000 miles. I had to replace a wheel bearing. Now the tie rods have worn out. Not bad at all. This current van replaced a 2000 Odyessey that had 280,000 miles before it was hit. Had to replace the same wheel bearing on that one. I have another 2000 that has only 231,000 miles. My total miles driven with Hondas are 1,042,000 miles and I replaced two wheel bearings. Great cars. But why are the people at the dealerships always rude?

I bought my 93 Acura Integra from my mother-in-law who had purchased it brand new. At the time, she had @ 80,000 miles on it and had decided that she needed a lower mileage car. She purchased an Acura RSX from a dealer. I now have 216,000 on her old Integra. It is my daily driver and I would travel anywhere in that car. It has never given me a minute of trouble. The leather interior still looks great and sunroof has never leaked. My advice? Change your oil. I love my car!

I have a 1995 Honda Accord LX, that my mom purchased brand new in 1994 with 5 miles on it. She later gave the car to me with 170k on it. I got all the belts and routine maintenance done on it, its still running stronger than ever with 290,000 miles on it now. The car is literally angelic. One of my co workers started the car one night before getting off work, and he was so shocked to see the mileage, he said he'd never seen such a thing. The engine is smooth, quiet, tranny shifts directly on time. I will forever trust in Hondas

I have a 1994 Honda Accord LX with 304,000 miles on it. Has truly been a great car. Still runs like new with very few repairs. My friends are surprised at how well it looks and runs.

We purchased a 1999 HONDA CIVIC HX (standard engine and 5 speed transmission in January, 1999. It has has had regular tuneups @ 20,000 miles, oil change@ 8,000 miles - MOBIL 1, and NO MAJOR work. I drive 50 - 300 miles day interstate, city, and dirt. It is still running almost like new, maybe better than our 2007 HONDA Accord! It now has 260,000 MILES on it - Here is the best part and my secret (Don't tell the IRS). It averages 45 miles/gallon w/o a/c and I have many times got 50 - 51/MPG on the interstate as I use the car for business! Great for TAX DEDUCTION! I've been going to get a new one, but a feel the challenge of going another 240,000 miles. P.S. It uses a quart of oil @ 4,000 miles now, and I have changed the timing belt once. Back brakes are original, drum are stating to rust. Body has rust in two places, both very minor. Inside is almost like new as well!

1990 Honda Accord, 344,000 miles. Averages 28 to 29 miles per gallon. I just drove it from Michigan to Colorado with no problems what so ever. I love Honda and need her to last another 7 months before purchasing a new one.

My 1991 Honda accord EX, has 306000 miles and still runs great. I just change the alternator last week. I drove 68 miles per day. Standard shift. original clutch and I do regular maintenance. Trying to go 500000.

I have an 01 Honda CRV with 110,000 miles on it. I have kept up the inpections, oil changes, and a little TLC. I have changed the timing belt once. It runs like it is new. Hope to get about 250K when all is said an done.

I have a 1997 Honda Accord EX that currently has 340,700 miles. It still has the original transmission and mostly everything else is original as well. It is a manual and the clutch sleeve has been rebuilt. Other than that it rides very smooth. No complaints to Honda... They manufactured a darn good car.
